Option 1: 5-Point Ear Acupuncture (NADA Protocol)
The NADA protocol is a widely used, structured form of ear acupuncture that involves placing small, sterile needles at five specific points on the ear. This method is commonly utilized in community and recovery-based settings, including practices like Battlefield Acupuncture, to support:
- Stress reduction
- Emotional regulation
- Sleep improvement
- Support during recovery and life transitions
What to expect:
- You’ll rest comfortably in a seated position
- 5 small needles are gently placed in each ear
- Sessions typically last 45 - 60 minutes
- The environment is quiet, calm, and restorative
Many individuals report a deep sense of calm and mental quieting during and after ear acupuncture sessions.

For those who prefer a non-invasive approach, we offer a needle-free version of Battlefield Acupuncture (BFA) using ear acupuncture techniques with ear seeds.
BFA was originally developed for military and veteran care settings to support pain management and enhance function. Instead of needles, we apply small acupressure beads to specific points on the ears.
Battlefield Acupuncture ear seeds serve as a non-pharmacologic, supportive option to assist with:
- Pain and physical discomfort (acute or chronic)
- Anxiety or feeling overwhelmed
- Sleep difficulties
- Headaches or migraines
- Muscle tightness or body tension
- Emotional regulation
What to expect:
- You will remain seated during the session
- Ear seeds are placed on one or both ears
- Sessions typically last 45 - 60 minutes
- You’ll be shown how to gently stimulate the points on your own
The ear seeds remain in place for several days, allowing for ongoing support between visits.
Reset. Restore. Reconnect.
